The user can save heating costs in winter or when outside temperatures are cool by no longer simply releasing warm air outside.

SILVERLINE extractor hoods can be retrofitted with SilverSwitch, provided there is a minimum distance of 529 mm from the top edge of the motor box of the hood to the bottom edge of the exhaust air hole in the wall (see drawing). The SilverSwitch module requires its own power supply and therefore an additional socket connection.
* SilverSwitch cannot be operated with the following hood models:
Wall hoods: Comet Premium, Polaris Deluxe, Antares Deluxe, Shadow Deluxe, Carisma, Carisma Deluxe,
Drena, Basic, Venus, Lara
Island hoods: Comet Isola Premium, Polaris Isola, Antares Isola
The installation of SilverSwitch is not possible with table hoods, ceiling hoods, corner hoods, flat screen hoods, under-unit hoods and fan modules.
- For connecting the extractor hood with SilverSwitch: Alu-Flex hose, item no. AFS 150 and hose clamps item no. SS 150.
- For connecting SilverSwitch to the exhaust air outlet: Recommended: smooth-walled round pipe, Ø 150 mm, smooth-walled 90˚ round pipe bend; Alternatively: Alu-Flex hose, item no. AFS 150 and hose clamps item no. SS 150.
