The new function brings even more joy to the kitchen. It saves time and space, eliminates the use of plastic bottles and is completely safe. To get sparkling water, press and turn the ridged ring. The light ring, which turns red when water is boiling, now flashes blue: sparkling water is approaching. If you hold the button a little longer, still water comes out of the tap and the light ring turns solid blue. This means it is not possible to accidentally tap boiling water even though you actually wanted to tap chilled water. Incidentally, in standby mode, the energy costs are only around 5 cents per day.
