When closed, it forms a level with the work surface. If it is needed, all you need to do is press lightly on the lid and the integrated spring mechanism will raise the housing. The retractable socket then provides two Schuko sockets that are arranged next to each other. This means that the double socket only requires a small installation depth of less than 48 mm. This has a positive effect on the space required if there are drawers or pull-outs underneath. When installing, the cable outlet on the bottom should also be taken into account. A 200 cm long power cable including a Schuko plug is connected. This means that the double socket can be supplied with power directly, for example via a floor socket.
