The homeier hybrid filter can be used to increase the performance of recirculated air operation. In exhaust air operation, it acts as a pressure relief valve in that the hood blows as much air into the exhaust air path with reduced exhaust air paths (max. 25 mm difference) until the resulting resistance slows down the air flow.
