Activated carbon
Activated carbon consists mainly of carbon in the form of graphite monocrystals. These are processed in such a way that their structure becomes porous and has a large internal surface area. Thanks to these properties, activated carbon has a high absorption capacity and can bind molecules of various substances on its inner surface.

Zeolite

Zeolite is a mineral with high microporosity. It is primarily used for its ability to absorb organic compounds and water vapor. This is due to the special properties of its regular and microporous crystal structure, which has an extraordinarily large number of cavities in the crystals.

Item information:

Carbon.Zeo “Microtech” is the latest generation solution, which consists of carbon and zeolite microspheres integrated into a mesh-like porous polyurethane structure. These guarantee better filter performance as well as easier maintenance and regeneration than the conventional Carbon.Zeo filter. The new filter generation is of course backwards compatible.

Care and cleaning:

  • with normal cooking habits, put it in the dishwasher at 60° C or wash it under warm water approx. every 4-6 months. Do not use multi-phase tabs!
  • Then dry in the oven at a maximum of 50° C for one hour
  • Service life approx. 4 years
