For light soiling. Place approx. 400 ml of water and a little washing-up liquid in the cooking chamber and select the cleaning program. The environmentally friendly cleaning system softens burnt-in residues so that they can then be wiped off much more easily

berbel permalyt® recirculating air filter BUR 125 FLU bT with holding bracket, thermal catalysis

In normal operation, the filter mats are flowed through and absorb the odors. The odor retention is 97%.

In the regeneration phase, the heating cartridge inside the catalytic converter heats the core to approx. 140°C. When the final temperature is reached, the circulation fan starts. The hot air flowing out of the catalytic converter heats the interior of the filter to approx. 50°C. This temperature ensures that the stored odor molecules are released from the activated carbon mats and then flow through the catalytic converter. Here they are broken down and converted into CO2 and oxygen. After a total running time of approx. 90 minutes, all odor molecules are broken down and the filter is regenerated. The regeneration process can be interrupted at any time by switching on the hood.

General information about the berbel permalyt BUR 125 FLU bT recirculating air filter with holding bracket

With permalyt®, berbel presents a filter system that regenerates itself. Berbel has taken the principle of thermal catalysis, which is often used in nature for conversion, e.g. for natural gas, as a model to create a recirculating air filter that regularly, permanently and reliably converts annoying odors into pure air.
The filter mats used consist of a unique special activated carbon.
After a certain number of operating hours (30 minutes of cooking in one go or 60 minutes in total), the new regeneration process starts in the closed filter. The thermocatalytic process neutralizes odors using a catalyst. This is done automatically at regular intervals put into operation to regenerate the filter material.
The permalyt® filter system has been tested by TÜV-Rheinland. It is certified for its excellent filtering effect over its lifespan.

Features:

  • The first filter system that regenerates itself!
  • High-tech filter mats made from special carbon instead of granules.
  • Innovative thermal catalysis neutralizes odors and ensures permanently clean air.
  • Maintenance-free.
  • TÜV Rheinland certified.

Planning information:

  • Suitable only for the BEH FLU built-in hood
  • A separate power connection is required
  • The filter control cable is connected to terminals 1 and 2 for the wall box contact.
  • Normal operation:

    • The filter mats are flowed through during normal operation and absorb the odors.
    • The odor retention is 97%.

    Thermocatalysis:

    • In the regeneration phase, the heating cartridge inside the catalytic converter heats the core to approx. 140°C.
    • When the final temperature is reached, the circulation fan starts. The hot air flowing out of the catalytic converter heats the interior of the filter to approx. 50°C.
    • This temperature ensures that the stored odor molecules are released from the activated carbon mats and then flow through the catalytic converter. Here they are broken down and converted into CO2 and oxygen.
    • After a total running time of approx. 120 minutes, all odor molecules are broken down and the filter is regenerated.
    • If the filter is in the regeneration process, you can tell by the quiet running noise of the built-in fan.
    • The process can be interrupted at any time by switching on the hood.
    • It continues after the cooking process.
