The berbel hybrid filter can be used with recirculated air to increase the performance of recirculated air operation. In exhaust air operation, it acts as a pressure relief valve in that the hood blows as much air into the exhaust air path with reduced exhaust air paths (max. 25 mm difference) until the resulting resistance slows down the air flow. The remaining air that accumulates is returned to the room cleaned through the hybrid filter, as with normal berbel recirculation technology.
