The new generation of the Skyline ceiling lift hood combines all requirements in terms of technology and design. The Skyline impresses with its full power and, even in the basic version, can be elegantly moved from the ceiling at the push of a button on the included remote control. The height adjustability has been expanded to up to 1,200 mm. With the new teach function, the hood automatically stops at the optimal working height and develops its full effect there. The powerful and energy-efficient EC fan motor in conjunction with the patented berbel principle captures all vapors compared to other ceiling fans.

According to a patented process, berbel uses the physical power of the centrifuge.
- First, the vapors are sucked in through a narrow but extremely effective gap.
- At the hood inlet, the air is then accelerated strongly and deflected in an arc in two directions. The resulting centrifugal force throws the fat particles out of the air and separates them quietly and effectively instead of filtering them. More than 90% of the fats are caught in the hood in the first step, so the air can move on unhindered.
- In the middle part is the residual separator - the Capillar Trap (equipment depends on the model). Thanks to the vertical arrangement and the perforated structure, even the finest residual particles - the last 3 to 5 percent - are captured. It is easily removable and can be cleaned in the dishwasher every 6-6 weeks.

The berbel LED lighting is characterized by very low energy consumption, high efficiency and longevity. Perfect hob illumination is achieved by optimally positioning the lighting in the hood body. The LEDs used by berbel have a color temperature of 3,500K - this corresponds to the light color warm white.

The berbel KNX-RF module enables the integration of berbel Skyline models into modern home automation. The KNX standard enables devices to be networked and operated via a standardized BUS system. Due to the comprehensive standard, KNX offers the highest level of security.
The following functions of the Skyline models can be controlled via KNX-RF technology:
- Control of the fan levels (1/2/3/P)
- Effect lighting (on/off)
- Hob lighting (on/off)
- Drive (up/down) or EcoSwitch (recirculation/exhaust air).
The easiest way to integrate into KNX is to control the functions via a KNX radio switch.
If, for example, ComingHome functions are set when putting together the KNX system, the lighting of the Skyline model can be switched on centrally. This is particularly useful wherever the hood is planned as a light source and needs to be switched on centrally. Thanks to the uniform standard, there are countless possible applications when combining functions with other sensors such as a KNX LUX, CO2 or mixed gas sensor. The fan starts automatically at level 3, the hob lighting bathes the cooking zone in a pleasant working light. The berbel AutoRun module is connected between the power connection and the hob. It detects when the hob is switched on and starts the extractor via a Bluetooth connection. During the cooking process, the hood can be controlled with all functions as usual using the remote control. When you switch off the hob, the hood switches to the run-on function and then switches off. The Autorun module is available for all berbel ceiling lift hoods and can be combined with all power-operated, self-sufficient hobs, regardless of manufacturer.
